Favorite Media

I first heard “Modern Loneliness” via this Mellow Pop playlist on Spotify while trying to fall asleep, and I’ve been obsessed with it since. I prefer the acoustic/stripped versions of Lauv’s songs more than the album versions anyway (see this version of “Chasing Fire“), but the lyrics of this song are just so pertinent to how I’ve been feeling the past month. Being stuck home while social distancing, alone with my thoughts; trying to find a healthy and fulfilling romantic relationship through dating apps; reconnecting with friends and then not speaking to them for weeks… this song covers all of it.

Challenge Progress

See my 2020 reading goal post for more info!

I found The Right Swipe and Twice in a Blue Moon at a library book sale for 50 cents each (and you really can’t beat that)

An arc of Not That Kind of Guy came from a Goodreads giveaway

And the rest were a splurge at Harvard Book Store… which just goes to show that I literally cannot be trusted alone in a bookstore
