rating system

I try to stay within whole number reviews but sometimes a book really needs a ½ ★. S’okay. We’ll live.

★: Didn’t like it. The most redeeming quality of this book was that I was able to finish it.
★★: Meh. There were some parts that I liked but more that I didn’t.
★★★: Middle of the road. Was I glad I read it? Yes. Will I read it again? Probably not. Will I let it live on my bookshelf? Eh.
★★★★: Awesome! The good parts totally overshadowed the bad, and I would most likely put this on my “to buy” list if I didn’t already own it.
★★★★★: Amazing & practically perfect (in every way). If you asked me what my favorite book is, I’d probably say this one.

himself he picked the was
